Ingredients
- Fresh figs
- 12, ripe
- Walnuts
- 1 cup, finely chopped
- Honey
- 1/4 cup
- Vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon
- Cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt

- Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream
- for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Carefully cut a small slit in the top of each fig, creating an opening without cutting all the way through.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the finely chopped walnuts, honey, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Stir until well blended.
- Gently stuff each fig with the walnut mixture, using your fingers to press it in securely.
- Arrange the stuffed figs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, ensuring they are spaced apart.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, or until the walnut topping is golden and fragrant.
