Fiskefrikadeller
Fiskefrikadeller are delightful Danish fish cakes that showcase the freshness of the sea, combined with aromatic herbs and spices. Ingredients
- 1 pound, skinless and boneless White fish fillets
- 1 medium, finely chopped Onion
- 2 tablespoons, chopped Fresh dill
- 1, beaten Egg
- 1 cup Bread crumbs
- 1 teaspoon Lemon zest
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Pepper
- for frying Vegetable oil

Instructions
- In a food processor, blend the white fish fillets until smooth.
- Transfer the fish mixture to a bowl and add the chopped onion, fresh dill, egg, bread crumbs, lemon zest, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.
- Shape the mixture into small patties, about 2 inches in diameter.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Cook the fiskefrikadeller for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve hot with a side of remoulade sauce.
Tips
- For a lighter version, you can bake the fiskefrikadeller at 375°F (190°C) for about 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
