Ingredients

Original recipe serves 4

White fish fillets
1 pound, skinless and boneless
Onion
1 medium, finely chopped
Fresh dill
2 tablespoons, chopped
Egg
1, beaten
Bread crumbs
1 cup
Lemon zest
1 teaspoon
Salt
1 teaspoon
Pepper
1/2 teaspoon
Vegetable oil
for frying

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, blend the white fish fillets until smooth.
  2. Transfer the fish mixture to a bowl and add the chopped onion, fresh dill, egg, bread crumbs, lemon zest, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.
  3. Shape the mixture into small patties, about 2 inches in diameter.
  4. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Cook the fiskefrikadeller for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Serve hot with a side of remoulade sauce.
