Original recipe serves 4-5

Carbonated water
1 liter
Granulated sugar
1/2 cup
Bubblegum flavoring
1 tablespoon
Red food coloring
3-5 drops (or until desired color is reached)

Instructions

  1. In a large pitcher, pour in the liter of carbonated water.
  2. Add the granulated sugar to the carbonated water. Stir the mixture until the sugar completely dissolves. This should create a sweet base for your Frescolita.
  3. Now, stir in the bubblegum flavoring. This will add the distinctive Frescolita taste that is loved in Venezuela and beyond.
  4. Add the red food coloring one drop at a time, stirring after each addition. Adjust the number of drops until you reach your desired shade of vibrant red.
