Instructions
- Begin by seasoning the pork pieces with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Ensure each piece is evenly coated for maximum flavor.
- Set up a dredging station: Place the flour in one bowl, the beaten eggs in another, and the breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
- Dredge each piece of pork in the flour, shaking off any excess. Then dip it into the beaten eggs, ensuring it's fully coated. Finally, coat the pork in the breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
- In a deep fryer or large pot, heat the vegetable oil to 375°F (190°C). Use enough oil to fully submerge the pork pieces.
- Fry the pork in batches, being careful not to overcrowd the pot. Cook until golden brown and crispy, about 5 minutes. Use a slotted spoon to remove the pork and drain on paper towels.
- Serve the crispy fried pork in scoop chips, allowing guests to fill their chips with the succulent pork. For an extra touch, include a dipping sauce on the side.
Tips
- For a spicy kick, add cayenne pepper to the flour mixture.
- Try using panko breadcrumbs for an even crispier texture.
- Pair with a tangy dipping sauce like ranch or a sweet chili sauce for added flavor.
