Ingredients
- Mixed seafood (such as shrimp, calamari, and white fish)
- 1 pound, cleaned and prepared
- All-purpose flour
- 1 cup
- Salt
- 1 teaspoon, to taste
- Black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon, freshly ground
- Vegetable oil

- Lemon wedges

- Parsley, chopped
- 2 tablespoons, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Begin by cleaning and preparing the seafood. If using shrimp, peel and devein them. Cut squid into rings and ensure the white fish is cut into bite-sized pieces.
- In a deep skillet or frying pan, heat enough vegetable oil to cover the bottom by about an inch over medium-high heat. The oil should reach 350°F (175°C) for frying.
- In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, salt, and black pepper, mixing well.
- Dredge the prepared seafood in the flour mixture, ensuring each piece is evenly coated. Shake off any excess flour.
- Fry the seafood in batches, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Fry each batch for about 3-4 minutes, or until the seafood is golden brown and crispy.
- Using a slotted spoon, transfer the fried seafood to a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil.
- Once all the seafood is fried, arrange it on a serving platter, garnishing with chopped parsley if desired.
- Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the seafood.
