Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, cornstarch, water, garlic, and ginger until well combined. This will be your savory sauce. Set aside.
  2. Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink and are cooked through. Once cooked, remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the sliced bell peppers, broccoli florets, and julienned carrots. Stir fry the vegetables for 3-4 minutes, or until they are crisp-tender.
  4. Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet and pour the prepared sauce over the shrimp and vegetables. Stir well to coat everything evenly and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve the garlic and ginger shrimp stir fry over bowls of cooked rice. Garnish with sliced green onions for added flavor and a pop of color.
  7. Enjoy your delightful meal!
