Servings: 4
Ingredients
- Cabbage
- 1 medium head, sliced into thin chips
- Olive oil
- 2 tablespoons
- Garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon
- Dried herbs (thyme, rosemary, or oregano)
- 1 teaspoon
- Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Remove any damaged outer leaves from the cabbage and cut it into thin slices, approximately 1/8 inch thick.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced cabbage with olive oil, garlic powder, dried herbs, salt, and black pepper. Toss well until the cabbage is evenly coated.
- Arrange the seasoned cabbage slices in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cabbage chips are crispy and turn a golden brown color. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning.
- Once baked, remove the chips from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes. This will help them crisp up even more.
- Serve the garlic and herb cabbage chips as a healthy snack or use them as a crunchy topping for salads and soups.
