Sesame oil
1 tablespoon
Cornstarch

Vegetable oil
2 tablespoons
Green onions

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch until smooth. Set aside to allow the flavors to meld.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat until shimmering.
  3. Add the sliced beef to the skillet in a single layer, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Stir fry for 2-3 minutes, or until the beef is browned and cooked through. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sliced zucchini. Stir fry for 2-3 minutes, or until the zucchini is tender-crisp and vibrant.
  5. Return the cooked beef to the skillet and pour the soy sauce mixture over the beef and zucchini. Stir fry for another 1-2 minutes, until the sauce thickens and coats the ingredients evenly.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste, adjusting to your preference.
  7. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
  8. Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles for a complete meal.
