Ingredients
- Zucchini
- 1 medium, sliced
- Garlic
- 2 cloves, minced
- Cheddar cheese
- 4 slices (or more to taste)
- Bread
- 4 slices (your choice of bread)
- Butter
- 4 tablespoons, softened
- Salt

- Black pepper

Instructions
- In a skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat until melted.
- Add the sliced zucchini and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté until the zucchini is tender and slightly browned, about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- Spread the softened butter generously on one side of each slice of bread.
- In the same skillet, place 2 slices of bread, buttered side down. Top each slice with a slice of cheddar cheese.
- Evenly distribute the sautéed zucchini and garlic over the cheese, and then place another slice of cheddar on top.
- Cover with the remaining bread slices, buttered side up.
- Cook the sandwiches over medium heat for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until the bread is a beautiful golden brown and the cheese has melted. You may need to press down slightly to ensure even cooking.
- Remove from the skillet and let cool for a few minutes before slicing the sandwiches in half.
