Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create the savory sauce.
- In another bowl, mix the cornstarch with water to form a slurry, then set aside.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat until shimmering.
- Add the sliced beef to the skillet and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, or until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the broccoli florets, bell peppers, and carrots. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes, or until the vegetables are crisp-tender and vibrant in color.
- Return the cooked beef to the skillet, then pour in the prepared sauce mixture. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, stirring frequently until the sauce has thickened and coats the beef and vegetables evenly.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
- Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles for a complete meal.
Tips
- For a spicier kick, add sliced chilies or a dash of chili sauce to the stir-fry.
- Feel free to substitute the vegetables with your favorites, such as snap peas, mushrooms, or bok choy.
- Marinate the beef in a bit of soy sauce and cornstarch for 15-30 minutes before cooking for added tenderness.
