Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- While the spaghetti is cooking, melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes to the skillet. Stir and cook for about 1-2 minutes, until the garlic turns golden and the mixture is fragrant.
- Increase the heat to medium-high and add the prawns to the skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes, turning once, until the prawns turn pink and opaque.
- Lower the heat to medium and stir in the lemon juice. Season the prawns with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and gently toss to coat the pasta in the garlic butter sauce. Allow the pasta to cook in the sauce for an additional 2-3 minutes, until it is heated through.
- Remove the skillet from the heat and garnish the pasta with the fresh parsley. Serve immediately while hot.
Tips
- For a creamier pasta, add a splash of heavy cream to the sauce.
- Use fresh prawns for the best flavor. Frozen prawns can be used too, but make sure to thaw them completely before cooking.
