Ingredients

Salt

Fresh parsley
1/4 cup, finely chopped
Lemon
1, juiced
Red pepper flakes
1/2 teaspoon
Garlic
4 cloves, minced
Unsalted butter
1/2 cup
Spaghetti
200 grams
Prawns
500 grams, deveined and shells removed

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. While the spaghetti is cooking, melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes to the skillet. Stir and cook for about 1-2 minutes, until the garlic turns golden and the mixture is fragrant.
  4. Increase the heat to medium-high and add the prawns to the skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes, turning once, until the prawns turn pink and opaque.
  5. Lower the heat to medium and stir in the lemon juice. Season the prawns with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and gently toss to coat the pasta in the garlic butter sauce. Allow the pasta to cook in the sauce for an additional 2-3 minutes, until it is heated through.
  7. Remove the skillet from the heat and garnish the pasta with the fresh parsley. Serve immediately while hot.
