Garlic Parmesan Roasted Potatoes

Experience the irresistible allure of these Garlic Parmesan Roasted Potatoes, that serve as the perfect sidekick to any meal. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, these golden-brown beauties are a harmonious blend of textures. The robust flavors of garlic and parmesan cheese make themselves known with every bite, and the parsley adds a splash of freshness that will have you reaching for more.

Serves 4

Ingredients

Parsley
2 tablespoons, freshly chopped
Salt and pepper
to taste
Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup, freshly grated, plus extra for garnish
Garlic
3 cloves, minced
Olive oil
2 tablespoons
Potatoes
1.5 pounds, cut into 1-inch pieces

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Liberally spray a baking sheet with non-stick spray to prevent the potatoes from sticking.
  2. Arrange the potatoes in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle them with olive oil, followed by the minced garlic and freshly grated Parmesan. Season with salt and pepper to your preference.
  3. Gently toss the potatoes until they are evenly coated with the olive oil, garlic, and Parmesan mixture.
  4. Transfer the baking sheet to the preheated oven. Roast the potatoes for 25-30 minutes, or until they're golden brown and crisp.
  5. Remove the potatoes from the oven and stir in the freshly chopped parsley.
  6. Serve the potatoes immediately. For added flavor, sprinkle additional Parmesan and parsley on top, if desired.

Tips

  • 💡 For best results, use fresh Parmesan and grate it yourself. It melts better than pre-grated cheese and has a superior taste.
  • 💡 Russet or Yukon Gold potatoes work best for this recipe due to their starchy content, which helps achieve a crispy exterior.
  • 💡 You can also add a sprinkle of red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
