- 1, cut in half lengthwise
- Steak (sirloin or rump)
- 1 pound, sliced
- Salt

- Piri Piri sauce
- 1/2 cup, plus extra for serving
- Lettuce
- 1 cup, shredded
- Tomato
- 1, sliced
- Pickled gherkins
- 1/2 cup, sliced
- Chips (French fries)
- 2 cups, cooked
Instructions
- Begin by preheating your pan or grill over medium-high heat.
- While the pan heats up, cut the French loaf in half lengthwise and set aside.
- Generously season the sliced steak with salt and black pepper on both sides.
- Cook the steak in the hot pan for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes to retain its juices.
