Ingredients
- Pecans
- 1 tablespoon, finely chopped
- Shredded coconut
- 1 tablespoon
- Whipped cream
- 2 tablespoons
- Vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon
- Coconut milk
- 1/2 cup
- Chocolate syrup
- 1 tablespoon
- Brewed coffee
- 1 cup
Instructions
- Start by heating the coconut milk in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir occasionally to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pan. Heat it until it's hot but not boiling.
- While the coconut milk is heating, take a large coffee mug and add the brewed coffee, chocolate syrup, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the heated coconut milk into the coffee mixture. Stir well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined and the coffee has a uniform color.
- Top your delicious coffee with a dollop of whipped cream. Sprinkle the shredded coconut and finely chopped pecans on top of the cream.
- Serve your German Chocolate Cake Inspired Coffee hot and savor the rich, dessert-like flavors with every sip. Enjoy!
Tips
- For a stronger coconut flavor, you can use coconut-flavored coffee or add a splash of coconut extract to the coffee.
- If you prefer iced coffee, allow the coffee mixture to cool before adding ice cubes, then top with whipped cream, coconut, and pecans.
- For a dairy-free version, use coconut-based whipped cream.
