Water
2 cups
Fresh ginger
1-inch piece, peeled and sliced
Black tea leaves
2 teaspoons
Milk
1 cup
Sugar
2 tablespoons (or to taste)

Instructions

  1. In a medium-sized pot, bring 2 cups of water and the sliced ginger to a boil.
  2. Once boiling, reduce the heat and let it simmer for 10 minutes, allowing the ginger to infuse its warming flavor into the water.
  3. After 10 minutes, add 2 teaspoons of black tea leaves to the pot. Cover and let it steep for 5 minutes to achieve a rich color and flavor.
  4. Strain the tea into a jug, discarding both the ginger slices and tea leaves.
  5. Stir in 1 cup of milk and 2 tablespoons of sugar until well combined. Adjust the sweetness according to your preference.
  6. Pour the hot ginger milk tea into cups and serve immediately, savoring the aromatic blend.
