Ingredients
- Olive oil (2 tablespoons)
- Black pepper (to taste)
- Salt (to taste)
- Parmesan cheese (1/4 cup, grated)
- Fresh basil (1/4 cup, chopped)
- Mozzarella cheese (8 ounces, shredded)
- Tomato sauce (2 cups)
- Gnocchi (1 pound)
Instructions
- Cook the gnocchi according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the tomato sauce, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the cooked gnocchi to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Transfer the gnocchi and sauce to a baking dish.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the top.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh basil and grated Parmesan cheese.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
