Original recipe serves 4

Ice cubes
as needed
Water
1 liter
Sugar
1/2 cup (adjust according to taste)
Lemon
1, juiced
Grapefruit
1, juiced

Instructions

  1. In a large pitcher, combine the juice extracted from one grapefruit and one lemon.
  2. Add sugar to the citrus juice mixture, stirring well until the sugar is fully dissolved.
  3. Gradually add water to the pitcher, continuing to stir until it is well mixed with the juice and sugar mixture.
  4. Chill the Gokuri mixture in the refrigerator for at least an hour for best results.
  5. When ready to serve, pour the chilled Gokuri into glasses filled with ice cubes.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy your invigorating, homemade Japanese Gokuri!
