Ingredients
- Sourdough bread
- 4 slices
- Unsalted butter
- 4 tablespoons, softened
- Goat cheese
- 2 ounces, crumbled
- Cheddar cheese
- 2 ounces, sliced
- Gruyere cheese
- 2 ounces, sliced
- Prosciutto
- 4 slices
- Fig jam
- 2 tablespoons
- Arugula
- 1 cup, washed and dried
- Balsamic glaze

Instructions
- Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
- Spread 1 tablespoon of softened butter on one side of each slice of sourdough bread.
- Place two slices of bread, buttered side down, on the skillet or griddle.
- Layer the goat cheese, cheddar cheese, and Gruyere cheese evenly on top of the bread slices.
- Spread fig jam on top of the cheese layers, then add prosciutto and a handful of arugula.
- Top with the remaining two slices of bread, buttered side up.
- Cook the sandwiches for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted. You can press down slightly with a spatula for even toasting.
- Once cooked, remove the sandwiches from the skillet or griddle and let them cool for a minute.
- Drizzle balsamic glaze generously over the sandwiches.
- Slice the sandwiches in half and serve hot, enjoying the melty goodness!
