
Gourmet Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

Ingredients
- Balsamic glaze (2 tablespoons)
- Arugula (1 cup)
- Prosciutto (4 slices)
- Fig jam (2 tablespoons)
- Goat cheese (2 ounces)
- Cheddar cheese (4 ounces, grated)
- Gruyere cheese (4 ounces, grated)
- Butter (4 tablespoons)
- Sourdough bread (4 slices)
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of sourdough bread.
- Place two slices of bread, buttered side down, on the skillet or griddle.
- Layer the cheeses, fig jam, prosciutto, and arugula on top of the bread slices.
- Place the remaining two slices of bread on top, buttered side up.
- Cook the sandwiches for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove the sandwiches from the skillet or griddle and let them cool for a minute.
- Drizzle balsamic glaze over the sandwiches.
- Slice the sandwiches in half and serve hot.
