- Cucumbers
- 4-5 medium, sliced
- Garlic cloves
- 4, crushed
- Bay leaves
- 2
- Black peppercorns
- 1 teaspoon
- Cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon
- Coriander seeds
- 1 teaspoon
- Mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon
- Salt
- 2 tablespoons
- Sugar
- 1 tablespoon
- White vinegar
- 2 cups
- Red pepper flakes

Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine the white vinegar, sugar, salt, mustard seeds, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, black peppercorns, bay leaves, and crushed garlic cloves.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally until the sugar and salt dissolve completely.
- Once boiling, add the sliced cucumbers to the saucepan and reduce the heat to low. Allow the cucumbers to simmer for 30 minutes, absorbing all the flavors.
- After 30 minutes, remove the saucepan from heat and let the pickles cool to room temperature.
- Once cooled, transfer the pickles and the liquid into an airtight container, ensuring the cucumbers are fully submerged in the brine.
- Refrigerate the pickles for at least 24 hours before serving to ensure they reach their full flavor potential.
