- Ground beef

- Onion
- 1, finely chopped
- Bell pepper
- 1, finely chopped

- Chili powder
- 1 tablespoon
- Cumin
- 1 teaspoon
- Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon or to taste
- Black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon or to taste
- Taco shells
- 12
- Shredded cheese
- 1 cup
- Sour cream
- 1/2 cup
- Salsa
- 1/2 cup
- Lettuce
- 1 cup, shredded
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, stirring occasionally, until no longer pink. Drain off any excess fat.
- Add the chopped onion, bell pepper, minced garlic, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir well to combine.
- Continue to cook the beef and vegetable mixture, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender, about 5-7 minutes.
- While the beef mixture is cooking, heat the taco shells according to the package instructions.
- Once everything is ready, assemble the tacos. Start by spooning the beef mixture into each taco shell. Follow with a sprinkling of shredded cheese, a dollop of sour cream, a spoonful of salsa, and finally, a handful of shredded lettuce.
