Original recipe serves 6

Tortilla chips
1 bag (about 10-12 ounces)
Olive oil
2 tablespoons
Garlic powder
1 teaspoon
Onion powder
1 teaspoon
Chili powder
1 teaspoon
Cumin
1/2 teaspoon
Salt
1/2 teaspoon
Cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon (adjust to taste)
Paprika
1 teaspoon
Oregano
1 teaspoon (dried)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the tortilla chips and olive oil, tossing well to coat each chip evenly.
  3. Sprinkle in the garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, cumin, salt, cayenne pepper, paprika, and oregano. Mix thoroughly until the chips are evenly coated with the seasoning mixture.
  4. Spread the seasoned chips in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until the chips are golden brown and crispy. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning.
  6. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving warm.
