Ingredients
- Brown mustard seeds
- 1/4 cup
- Yellow mustard seeds
- 1/4 cup
- Apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup
- Water
- 1/4 cup
- Honey
- 2 tablespoons
- Salt
- 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon
- Garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine the yellow mustard seeds and brown mustard seeds. Allow them to soak in water for about 1 hour for improved texture.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the apple cider vinegar, 1/4 cup of water, honey, salt, turmeric, and garlic powder until well combined.
- After soaking, drain the mustard seeds and add them to the vinegar mixture. Stir well to ensure the seeds are evenly coated.
- Cover the bowl and let the mixture sit at room temperature for 24 hours, stirring occasionally to allow the flavors to meld.
- After 24 hours, transfer the mixture to a blender or food processor. Blend until you reach your desired consistency, whether smooth or chunky.
