Ingredients
- Cucumber (1, thinly sliced)
- Red onion (1, thinly sliced)
- Tomatoes (2, sliced)
- Tzatziki sauce (1 cup)
- Pita bread (4, warmed)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Dried thyme (1 teaspoon)
- Dried oregano (1 teaspoon)
- Garlic (3 cloves, minced)
- Lemon juice (2 tablespoons)
- Olive oil (1/4 cup)
- Chicken breasts (4, boneless and skinless)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, dried oregano, dried thyme, salt, and pepper to make the marinade.
- Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and place them in a ziplock bag.
- Pour the marinade over the chicken, seal the bag, and massage the marinade into the chicken to ensure it is evenly coated.
- Marinate the chicken in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
