Servings: 4

Ingredients

Chorizo sausage
12 ounces, sliced into thick rounds
Fresh green beans
1 pound, trimmed
Olive oil
3 tablespoons
Garlic powder
1 teaspoon
Smoked paprika
1 teaspoon
Salt
1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper
1/4 teaspoon
Lemon wedges
for serving
Wooden skewers
8-10, soaked in water for 30 minutes

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat (about 400°F or 200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the trimmed green beans, olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the green beans are evenly coated with the seasoning.
  3. Carefully thread the green beans and chorizo slices onto the soaked wooden skewers, alternating between the two to create a balanced and visually appealing presentation.
  4. Place the skewers on the grill or on a baking sheet if using the oven. Grill or roast for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the green beans are tender and slightly charred, and the chorizo is heated through.
  5. Once cooked, remove the skewers from the grill or oven and allow them to rest for a minute. Serve the skewers hot with lemon wedges for squeezing over the top.
