Ingredients

  • Green onions (2 tablespoons, chopped (for garnish))
  • Black pepper (to taste)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Red pepper flakes (1/2 teaspoon)
  • Sesame oil (1 tablespoon)
  • Soy sauce (2 tablespoons)
  • Ginger (1 teaspoon, grated)
  • Garlic (2 cloves, minced)
  • Tomatoes (2 large, diced)
  • Green beans (1 pound, trimmed and halved)

Instructions

  1. Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the green beans to the skillet and stir fry for 5-6 minutes until they are crisp-tender.
  4. Add the diced tomatoes, soy sauce, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Stir fry for another 2-3 minutes until the tomatoes are slightly softened.
  5. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions.
