Servings: 4

Ingredients

Bottom sirloin steak
2 pounds
Olive oil
1/4 cup
Garlic
4 cloves, minced
Salt
1 tablespoon
Black pepper
1 teaspoon
Fresh rosemary
2 tablespoons, chopped
Fresh thyme
2 tablespoons, chopped
Lemon juice
2 tablespoons

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, chopped rosemary, chopped thyme, and lemon juice to create the marinade.
  2. Place the bottom sirloin steak in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the steak, ensuring it's well-coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight for maximum flavor.
  3. Preheat the grill to high heat, ensuring it's properly cleaned and oiled to prevent sticking.
  4. Remove the steak from the marinade and let it come to room temperature for about 20 minutes before grilling.
  5. Place the steaks on the grill and cook for 6-7 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached (130°F for medium-rare, 140°F for medium). Use a meat thermometer for accuracy.
  6. Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute, ensuring a moist and flavorful steak.
  7. Slice against the grain and serve with your favorite sides.
