
Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup Sandwich
This delicious sandwich combines the classic flavors of grilled cheese and tomato soup into one tasty dish.
Ingredients
- Tomato soup (1 cup)
- Butter (2 tablespoons)
- Cheddar cheese (4 slices)
- Bread (4 slices)
Instructions
- Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
- Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.
- Place two slices of bread, buttered side down, on the skillet.
- Top each slice with a slice of cheddar cheese.
- Place the remaining bread slices on top, buttered side up.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the bottom bread is golden brown and the cheese starts to melt.
- Flip the sandwiches and cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until the other side is golden brown and the cheese is fully melted.
- Meanwhile, heat the tomato soup in a separate pot until hot.
- Serve the grilled cheese sandwiches with a side of tomato soup for dipping.
