- Boneless, skinless chicken breasts

- 4 slices (your choice of type, such as sourdough or ciabatta)
- Butter
- 2 tablespoons, softened
- Romaine lettuce
- 2 cups, shredded
- Caesar dressing
- 1/4 cup (store-bought or homemade)
- Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup, grated
- Croutons
- 1/2 cup
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Season the chicken breasts liberally with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Grill the chicken for 6-8 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and juices run clear.
- Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for at least 5 minutes to retain moisture.
- Slice the chicken into thin strips against the grain.
- Spread Caesar dressing generously on one side of each slice of bread.
- On two slices of bread, layer the shredded romaine lettuce evenly.
- Top the lettuce with the sliced grilled chicken.
- Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese and croutons over the chicken.
- Cover with the remaining slices of bread, dressing side down.
- Spread softened butter evenly on the outer sides of both sandwiches.
