Grilled Corn with Herb Butter

Ingredients
- Corn on the cob
- 4 ears, husked
- Unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup, softened
- Garlic
- 2 cloves, minced
- Fresh herbs (such as parsley, cilantro, or basil)
- 1/4 cup, finely chopped
- Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon, or to taste
- Black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon, or to taste
- Kitchen twine
- as needed for tying husks
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F or 200°C).
- Carefully peel back the husks of the corn without removing them completely, leaving them attached at the base.
- Remove the silk from the corn and discard it.
- In a small mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped herbs, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Generously spread the herb butter mixture over each ear of corn, ensuring to coat all sides for maximum flavor.
- Fold the husks back over the corn and tie them securely with kitchen twine to hold them in place.
- Place the corn on the preheated grill and cook for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the corn is tender and has nice grill marks.
- Once cooked, remove the corn from the grill and allow it to cool for a few minutes. Carefully remove the husks before serving.
- Serve the grilled corn hot, drizzled with any remaining herb butter if desired.
