Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper to create a balanced and flavorful balsamic glaze.
- Brush the cut side of the endives generously with half the balsamic glaze, ensuring every nook and crevice is coated.
- Place the endives on the grill, cut side down, and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until lightly charred and marks are visible.
- Carefully flip the endives using a spatula or tongs. Brush the other side with the remaining balsamic glaze.
- Continue grilling for another 5-7 minutes, or until the endives are tender to the touch and fully infused with the smoky grill flavor.
- Remove the endives from the grill and transfer them to a serving plate. If desired, drizzle with any remaining balsamic glaze and serve hot.
- Enjoy this grilled delicacy as a standalone dish or as a unique side to complement your main course.
Tips
- For a twist, you can add a sprinkle of crumbled goat cheese or blue cheese on top of the endives right after they come off the grill, giving them an added layer of creamy flavor.
