Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Brush the peach halves with extra virgin olive oil and season with salt and black pepper.
- Place the peaches cut-side down on the grill. Grill for 2-3 minutes per side, until grill marks appear and the peaches soften slightly.
- Remove the peaches from the grill and allow them to cool for a few minutes before slicing them into wedges.
- In a large bowl, combine the mixed greens and torn basil leaves.
- Tear the burrata cheese into small pieces and gently add it to the bowl with the greens.
- Add the sliced grilled peaches to the salad.
- Drizzle the salad with balsamic glaze and a splash of extra virgin olive oil.
- Season with additional salt and pepper to taste.
- Gently toss the salad to combine all the ingredients, being careful not to break the burrata too much.
- Serve immediately, garnished with extra basil leaves if desired, and enjoy the harmony of flavors!
Tips
- For added flavor, consider marinating the peach halves in a mixture of olive oil, honey, and a splash of balsamic vinegar for 30 minutes before grilling.
- Feel free to substitute burrata with fresh mozzarella if unavailable, though the creaminess of burrata is highly recommended.
