Pork tenderloin
1 pound
Soy sauce
1/4 cup
Mirin
2 tablespoons
Garlic
4 cloves, minced
Ginger
1 tablespoon, grated
Vegetable oil
2 tablespoons
Chicken broth
6 cups
Ramen noodles
2 packages
Baby bok choy
4, halved
Green onions
3, sliced
Sesame seeds
2 tablespoons, toasted
Eggs
4, soft-boiled

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, mirin, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create a marinade. Mix well.
  2. Place the pork tenderloin in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight in the refrigerator for deeper flavor.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the pork tenderloin for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C). Let it rest for a few minutes, then slice it into thin strips.

  5. Pour in the chicken broth and bring it to a boil. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 10 minutes to blend the flavors.
  6. Cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  7. In the same pot with the chicken broth, add the halved baby bok choy and cook for 2-3 minutes until tender.
  8. Divide the cooked ramen noodles into bowls. Pour the hot broth over the noodles.
  9. Top the ramen with grilled pork slices, soft-boiled eggs, sliced green onions, and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.
  10. Serve hot and enjoy the delightful flavors!

Tips

  • 💡 For an extra kick, add a splash of chili oil or sriracha to the broth.
  • 💡 You can customize your ramen by adding other vegetables like mushrooms, spinach, or corn.
  • 💡 Make sure to soft-boil the eggs by simmering them for 6-7 minutes, then plunging them into ice water for easy peeling.
