Servings: 4
Ingredients
- Wooden skewers (8-10, soaked in water for 30 minutes)
- Salt (1 teaspoon, or to taste)
- Black pepper (1/2 teaspoon, or to taste)
- Olive oil (2 tablespoons)
- Lime juice (2 tablespoons, freshly squeezed)
- Honey (1 tablespoon)
- Soy sauce (1/4 cup)
- Fresh ginger (1 tablespoon, grated)
- Garlic (3 cloves, minced)
- Pork tenderloin (1 pound, cut into 1-inch cubes)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, honey, lime juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
- Add the pork cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for enhanced flavor.
- While the pork is marinating, soak wooden skewers in water for about 30 minutes to prevent burning on the grill.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated pork cubes onto the soaked wooden skewers, leaving a little space between each piece for even cooking.
- Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the pork is cooked through and has a nice char.
- Once cooked, remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
- Serve the grilled pork skewers with the tangy dipping sauce on the side for a perfect pairing.
