Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, honey, lime juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
- Add the pork cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for enhanced flavor.
- While the pork is marinating, soak wooden skewers in water for about 30 minutes to prevent burning on the grill.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated pork cubes onto the soaked wooden skewers, leaving a little space between each piece for even cooking.
- Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the pork is cooked through and has a nice char.
- Once cooked, remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
- Serve the grilled pork skewers with the tangy dipping sauce on the side for a perfect pairing.
Tips
- For a more intense flavor, marinate the pork overnight.
- Feel free to add vegetables like bell peppers, onions, or zucchini onto the skewers for a colorful presentation.
- These skewers can also be cooked in the oven or on a stovetop grill pan if grilling outdoors isn't an option.
