4 large, ripe
Olive oil
3 tablespoons
Salt
1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper
1/4 teaspoon
Fresh basil leaves
1/4 cup, chopped
Balsamic glaze
2 tablespoons

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium heat, around 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, salt, and black pepper to create a seasoning blend.
  3. Cut the tomatoes in half horizontally and brush the cut sides generously with the olive oil mixture.
  4. Place the tomatoes cut-side down on the grill. Cook for about 5 minutes, or until they have beautiful grill marks and begin to soften.

  7. For an extra layer of flavor, drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.
