Ingredients
- Fresh tomatoes
- 4 large, ripe
- Olive oil
- 3 tablespoons
- Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon
- Fresh basil leaves
- 1/4 cup, chopped
- Balsamic glaze
- 2 tablespoons
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium heat, around 350°F (175°C).
- In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, salt, and black pepper to create a seasoning blend.
- Cut the tomatoes in half horizontally and brush the cut sides generously with the olive oil mixture.
- Place the tomatoes cut-side down on the grill. Cook for about 5 minutes, or until they have beautiful grill marks and begin to soften.
- Carefully turn the tomatoes over and grill for another 5 minutes, or until they're heated through and slightly charred.
