- 1 can (5 oz), drained and flaked Canned tuna
- 2 tablespoons Mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons, finely chopped Red onion
- 2 tablespoons, finely chopped Celery
- to taste Salt
- to taste Black pepper
- 4 slices Cheddar cheese
- 4 slices (preferably sourdough or whole grain) Bread slices
- 4 tablespoons, softened Butter

Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the drained tuna, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, chopped red onion, chopped celery, salt, and pepper. Mix well until fully combined.
- Spread the tuna mixture evenly onto two slices of bread.
- Place two slices of cheddar cheese on top of the tuna mixture on each sandwich.
- Top with the remaining two slices of bread to form sandwiches.
- Spread softened butter generously on the outer sides of each sandwich.
- Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
