
Halibut Blt Sandwich
This delicious Halibut BLT Sandwich combines crispy halibut fillets with bacon, lettuce, tomato, and a tangy aioli sauce.
Ingredients
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Garlic powder (1/2 teaspoon)
- Lemon juice (1 tablespoon)
- Mayonnaise (2 tablespoons)
- Bread (4 slices)
- Tomato (2 slices)
- Lettuce (4 leaves)
- Bacon (4 slices, cooked)
- Halibut fillets (2 fillets)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Season the halibut fillets with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a drizzle of oil.
- Cook the halibut fillets for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
- In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to make the aioli sauce.
- Toast the bread slices in the oven until lightly golden.
- Spread the aioli sauce on one side of each bread slice.
- Layer the lettuce, tomato slices, cooked halibut fillets, and bacon on two bread slices.
- Top with the remaining bread slices to make sandwiches.
- Cut the sandwiches in half and serve.
