Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise and Dijon mustard to create a flavorful sauce.
- Lay out the flour tortillas. Spread the Dijon-mayo sauce evenly on each tortilla, leaving a small edge for folding.
- Layer the diced ham, shredded Swiss cheese, shredded lettuce, diced tomato, and thinly sliced red onion on top of the sauce on each tortilla.
- Season the fillings with salt and pepper to taste.
- Fold in the sides of the tortillas and roll them up tightly to form burritos. Make sure to keep the fillings secure inside.
- Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Place the burritos in the skillet, seam-side down. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the tortillas are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove the burritos from the skillet and let them cool for a few minutes before serving to allow the cheese to set.
- Slice the burritos in half diagonally and serve warm. Enjoy with a side of salsa or sour cream, if desired.
Tips
- For a gluten-free option, replace the flour tortillas with gluten-free ones. Variations can include adding jalapenos for an extra kick, or substituting the ham with chicken or turkey for a different flavor profile.
