Grilled Hanger Steak with Herb Marinade

Ingredients
- Hanger steak (1 1/2 pounds)
- Olive oil (1/4 cup)
- Garlic (4 cloves, minced)
- Salt (1 teaspoon)
- Black pepper (1 teaspoon)
- Fresh rosemary (2 tablespoons, chopped)
- Fresh thyme (2 tablespoons, chopped)
- Chimichurri sauce (1/2 cup)
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, rosemary, and thyme.
- Rub the marinade all over the hanger steak, making sure to coat it evenly. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator for more flavor.
- Place the steak on the grill and cook for about 6-8 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached.
- Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Slice the steak against the grain and serve hot with chimichurri sauce drizzled on top or on the side.
