Servings: 16 (2 tablespoons per serving)
Ingredients
- Roasted peanuts
- 2 cups
- Vegetable oil
- 1-2 tablespoons (to taste)
- Honey
- 1-2 tablespoons (to taste)
- Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon (or more to taste)
Instructions
- In a food processor, combine the roasted peanuts, salt, and honey.
- Process the mixture for 1-2 minutes until the peanuts begin to break down and clump together. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed to ensure even processing.
- Gradually pour in the vegetable oil while continuing to process the mixture. Adjust the amount of oil based on your desired smoothness and creaminess.
- Taste your peanut butter and adjust the sweetness by adding more honey or salt if desired, processing again to incorporate any additions.
- Once you reach your preferred consistency, transfer the peanut butter to a clean jar or container and seal it tightly.
- Store the peanut butter in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. Stir well before each use as natural separation may occur.
