Indulge in the sweet nostalgia of summer with our Homemade Strawberry Jam. Bursting with the taste of fresh, ripe strawberries and a hint of tangy lemon, this jam is perfect for spreading on warm toast, swirling into your morning yogurt or adding a dollop on top of vanilla ice cream. It's a delightful treat that brings the sunshine of summer to your table, no matter the season.

Servings: 2 jars (approx. 16 oz each)

Ingredients

Fresh strawberries
4 cups, hulled and halved
Granulated sugar
2 cups
Fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup

Instructions

  1. In a large, heavy-bottomed pot, add the strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice.
  2. Stir the mixture over medium heat until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  3. Increase the heat to high, bringing the mixture to a boil. Stir occasionally to prevent any sticking or burning.
  4. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer. Continue to stir occasionally for about 20-30 minutes, or until the jam has thickened to your liking.
  5. Remove the pot from heat and allow the jam to cool for about 5-10 minutes.
  6. Carefully transfer the jam into clean jars. Allow it to cool to room temperature before sealing the jars.
  7. Once sealed, store the jam in the refrigerator. It can be kept for up to 2 weeks.
