Hungarian Cabbage Noodles

Ingredients
- Egg noodles (8 ounces)
- Bacon (4 slices, chopped)
- Onion (1 medium, chopped)
- Garlic (2 cloves, minced)
- Cabbage (1 small head, shredded)
- Paprika (1 tablespoon)
- Salt (to taste)
- Pepper (to taste)
- Sour cream (1 cup)
- Fresh parsley (1/4 cup, chopped (for garnish))
Instructions
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon from the skillet and set aside, leaving the bacon grease in the skillet.
- Add the chopped onion to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the minced garlic and shredded cabbage, cooking until the cabbage is tender, about 10 minutes.
- Add the cooked egg noodles, paprika, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Toss everything together and cook for an additional 5 minutes, until heated through.
- Remove from heat and gently stir in the sour cream until well combined.
- Serve the Hungarian cabbage noodles topped with the crispy bacon and a sprinkle of fresh parsley.
