Potatoes
4 medium, boiled and mashed
Green peas
1/2 cup, boiled
Onion
1 medium, finely chopped
Green chili

Ginger
1 tablespoon, grated
Coriander leaves
2 tablespoons, chopped
Cumin powder
1 teaspoon
Coriander powder
1 teaspoon
Red chili powder
1/2 teaspoon (adjust to taste)
Salt
to taste
Bread crumbs
1/2 cup
Oil
for shallow frying
Mint chutney
for serving
Tamarind chutney
for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, bread crumbs, boiled green peas, finely chopped onion, green chili, grated ginger, chopped coriander leaves, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each portion into round, flat patties. Ensure the patties are compact to prevent them from breaking during frying.
