Indian Paneer Tikka Masala

- Cilantro
- 2 tablespoons, chopped

- Cashew nuts
- 1/2 cup, soaked in warm water
- Tomato
- 2 large, pureed
- Onion
- 1 large, finely chopped
- Oil
- 2 tablespoons
- Salt

- Garam masala
- 1 teaspoon
- Red chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon
- Ginger
- 1 inch, grated
- Yogurt
- 1/2 cup
- Paneer
- 2 cups, cubed
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together yogurt, grated ginger, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt to create the marinade.
- Add the paneer cubes to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are well coated. Allow it to sit for 15 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the marinated paneer cubes and cook until they turn golden brown on all sides. Once done, remove from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add chopped onions and sauté until they turn translucent.
- Add the pureed tomatoes to the pan and cook until the oil separates from the masala.
- While the tomatoes are cooking, grind the soaked cashew nuts into a smooth paste.
- Add the cashew paste to the pan and mix well.
- Stir in the fresh cream and kasuri methi, combining well.
- Add the cooked paneer cubes to the sauce and allow it to simmer for 5 minutes.
