Instant Wheat Dosa

Instant Wheat Dosa is a healthy, quick and easy to make recipe. This is a great breakfast or snack option especially when you run out of dosa batter or want to have something quick and tasty.

Ingredients

  • Oil (for cooking)
  • Water (2 cups)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Cumin seeds (1/2 teaspoon)
  • Green chilli (1, finely chopped)
  • Onion (1, finely chopped)
  • Rice flour (1/4 cup)
  • Whole wheat flour (1 cup)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the whole wheat flour, rice flour, chopped onion, green chilli, cumin seeds and salt.
  2. Gradually add water and mix well to make a thin batter.
  3. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly grease it with oil.
  4. Pour a ladleful of the batter onto the pan and spread it evenly to make a thin dosa.
  5. Drizzle a little oil around the edges and cook on medium heat until the dosa turns golden brown.
  6. Flip the dosa and cook on the other side until it turns golden brown.
  7. Remove the dosa from the pan and repeat with the remaining batter.
  8. Serve the Instant Wheat Dosa hot with chutney or sambar.
