
Instant Wheat Dosa
Instant Wheat Dosa is a healthy, quick and easy to make recipe. This is a great breakfast or snack option especially when you run out of dosa batter or want to have something quick and tasty.
Ingredients
- Oil (for cooking)
- Water (2 cups)
- Salt (to taste)
- Cumin seeds (1/2 teaspoon)
- Green chilli (1, finely chopped)
- Onion (1, finely chopped)
- Rice flour (1/4 cup)
- Whole wheat flour (1 cup)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the whole wheat flour, rice flour, chopped onion, green chilli, cumin seeds and salt.
- Gradually add water and mix well to make a thin batter.
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly grease it with oil.
- Pour a ladleful of the batter onto the pan and spread it evenly to make a thin dosa.
- Drizzle a little oil around the edges and cook on medium heat until the dosa turns golden brown.
- Flip the dosa and cook on the other side until it turns golden brown.
- Remove the dosa from the pan and repeat with the remaining batter.
- Serve the Instant Wheat Dosa hot with chutney or sambar.
