Freshly brewed hot coffee
1 cup
Irish whiskey
1.5 ounces
Granulated sugar
1 tablespoon
Whipped cream
dollop to top
Cocoa powder
pinch for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brew a cup of strong, hot coffee.
  2. In a heatproof glass, combine the Irish whiskey and granulated sugar.
  3. Pour the freshly brewed hot coffee into the glass, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  4. Gently spoon a dollop of whipped cream on top of the coffee. The cream should float atop the coffee, creating a layered effect.
  5. For a touch of extra indulgence, lightly dust the whipped cream with a pinch of cocoa powder.
