- Hoagie rolls (4)
- Provolone cheese (4 slices)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Italian seasoning (1 teaspoon)
- Olive oil (2 tablespoons)
- Onion (1, sliced)
- Bell peppers (2, sliced)
- Italian sausages (4 links)
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill the sausages until cooked through, about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the sliced peppers and onions to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
- Season the peppers and onions with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Slice the hoagie rolls lengthwise, without cutting all the way through.
- Place a slice of provolone cheese inside each roll.
- Place a grilled sausage on top of the cheese in each roll.
