Ingredients

Original recipe serves 24 poppers

Green onions
2, finely sliced
Bacon
4 slices, cooked and crumbled
Salt
1/4 teaspoon
Garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon
Sharp Cheddar cheese
1/2 cup, shredded
Cream cheese
8 oz, softened
Jalapenos
12, halved lengthwise and seeds removed

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and salt. Stir until the ingredients are evenly distributed.
  3. Using a spoon or a small scoop, generously fill each jalapeno half with the cream cheese mixture.
  4. Arrange the stuffed jalapenos on a baking sheet with the cheese side facing up.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the jalapenos are slightly charred.
  6. Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle each jalapeno popper with crumbled bacon and sliced green onions.
  7. Let the poppers cool for a few minutes before serving to allow the cheese to set.

Tips
