Jalapeno Poppers

Ingredients
- 2, finely sliced Green onions
- 4 slices, cooked and crumbled Bacon
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1/2 cup, shredded Sharp Cheddar cheese
- 8 oz, softened Cream cheese
- 12, halved lengthwise and seeds removed Jalapenos

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and salt. Stir until the ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Using a spoon or a small scoop, generously fill each jalapeno half with the cream cheese mixture.
- Arrange the stuffed jalapenos on a baking sheet with the cheese side facing up.
- Bake for 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the jalapenos are slightly charred.
- Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle each jalapeno popper with crumbled bacon and sliced green onions.
- Let the poppers cool for a few minutes before serving to allow the cheese to set.
Tips
- For a vegetarian version, omit the bacon and substitute with a sprinkle of smoked paprika for a similar smoky flavor.
