4, finely chopped
Fresh ginger
1 tablespoon, grated
Garlic
4 cloves, minced
Brown sugar
2 tablespoons
Soy sauce
1/4 cup
Lime juice
1/4 cup, freshly squeezed
Jerk seasoning
3 tablespoons

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the jerk seasoning, lime juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and chopped scallions.
  2. Whisk the mixture thoroughly until the brown sugar is fully dissolved and the marinade is well combined.
  3. Place your choice of meat (chicken, pork, or fish) in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the meat, ensuring it is fully coated.
  4. Seal the bag (or cover the dish) and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for the best flavor infusion.
  5. When ready to cook, remove the meat from the marinade and discard the used marinade. Cook your meat as desired: grill, bake, or pan-sear until fully cooked.
