Ingredients

Kale
1 bunch, stems removed and leaves torn into bite-sized pieces
Olive oil
1 tablespoon
Sea salt
1/2 teaspoon
Garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon (optional)
Paprika

Nutritional yeast
2 tablespoons (optional, for a cheesy flavor)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Carefully remove the kale leaves from the thick stems and tear them into bite-sized pieces, ensuring they are all roughly the same size for even cooking.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, drizzle the kale pieces with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt. Toss well to ensure all the kale is evenly coated.
  4. For added flavor, sprinkle in garlic powder, paprika, and nutritional yeast if desired. Toss again to distribute the seasonings evenly.
  5. Lay the kale pieces out on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer, making sure they are not overcrowded to allow for proper crisping.
