Ingredients
- Frozen fries
- 1 pound
- Shawarma meat
- 1 pound, cooked and sliced
- Gouda cheese
- 1 cup, shredded
- Red onion
- 1, thinly sliced
- Tomatoes
- 2, diced
- Lettuce
- 1 cup, shredded
- Salt
- to taste
- Pepper
- to taste
- Sriracha sauce
- 2 tablespoons
- Garlic sauce
- 1/4 cup
Instructions
- Preheat the oven according to the instructions on the frozen fries package.
- Spread the frozen fries evenly on a baking sheet and bake them in the preheated oven until golden and crispy, usually about 20-25 minutes.
- While the fries are baking, heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the shawarma meat until heated through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Once the fries are done, remove them from the oven and transfer them to a large oven-safe dish.
- Top the fries with the cooked shawarma meat, then sprinkle the shredded Gouda cheese generously over the top.
- Place the dish back in the oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- In the meantime, prepare the toppings: combine the shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and thinly sliced red onion in a bowl.
- In a separate small bowl, mix together the garlic sauce and Sriracha sauce until well combined.
- Once the cheese has melted, remove the dish from the oven and let it cool slightly.
- Top the cheesy fries and shawarma with the prepared lettuce, tomatoes, and red onion mixture.
- Drizzle the garlic and Sriracha sauce mixture generously over the top.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
